Consuming lactose-free milk

The lactose-free milk allows people who are intolerant of lactose to maintain a healthy diet without depriving yourself of the flavours of milk.

Some dairy groups produce a lactose-free milk which has a slightly milder taste, but is very similar to milky milk. To be precise, lactose has not been removed from the milk but has been transformed by the enzyme lactase, which has been added to the milk. In this way, the milk retains all its properties.

Some examples of lactose-free milk: Matin Léger®, Bjorg.

Lactolerance works in the same way: the natural enzyme it contains converts lactose into easily digestible simple sugars.
